How does it work with FJD mowers and line markers?
The V4e Pro captures field corners, goalposts, boundaries and reference points by pointing, so you can map a site without driving the robot to every spot. FJ Dynamics ships it as standard with the PaintMaster Pro and uses it to mark boundaries, no-go zones and assets for GolfMind.
Do I need a base station or RTK subscription?
Centimeter-level accuracy needs RTK corrections. The V4e Pro accepts RTCM 2.3, RTCM 3.x and CMR correction data, which can come from a network (NTRIP) service, a local base or a CORS such as the FJD Trion N10. We confirm the correction source and any service plan for your area with your quote.
What phone, tablet or app does it use?
It connects over dual-mode Bluetooth. FJD sells it as an Essential Kit or as a Survey Kit bundled with the FJD Trion Survey app; other FJD apps and controllers are used with its robots. We confirm the right app and device for your workflow with your quote.
How accurate is pointing compared with a pole?
RTK is rated at 0.8 cm + 1 ppm horizontal. With tilt compensation the 3D error is about 2.5 cm at 30° and 3.5 cm at 60°, and laser measurements are rated to the same figures within 3 m.
Is the laser safe to use?
It is a Class 2M green laser. Do not stare into the beam or view it through optical instruments.
Will it hold up in the field?
It is rated IP67, survives 1.2 m drops, runs about 12 hours per charge and recharges in under 3 hours over USB-C.
