How does SureFix work?
SureFix fuses GNSS, LiDAR, cameras and IMU to maintain pole-based measurements as you move from open sky into nearby GNSS-limited areas, with ±5 cm typical accuracy within a 20 m radius.
Can I measure points I cannot safely reach?
Yes. Select targets from captured images for LiDAR-based coordinate measurement within 20 m at ±5 cm typical accuracy. FJD cites trench edges, wall corners, areas beneath bridges and slope boundaries.
Can it calculate volumes on site?
Yes. Capture stockpiles, slopes and earthworks, and FJD Trion Survey gives volume results in the field. Process point clouds and prepare outputs in FJD Trion Model in the office. Software licensing is confirmed with your quote.
Does it need a base station?
For RTK, you need corrections from a base station (the V100F has a built-in UHF radio) or a network via the built-in 4G modem. We confirm the correction setup, controller and pole with your quote.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 5 hours while LiDAR scanning, or up to 22 hours as a UHF/4G RTK rover. It recharges in about 3.5 hours with 45 W PD fast charging.
