Can I use the C1 outdoors on a course or field?
No. The C1 is an indoor scanner. Its LiDAR range is 0.1 to 6 m, it operates from 0 to 40 °C, and it is not waterproof. For outdoor sites, look at the Trion P2, S2 series or X1.
What does the C1 produce?
A 3D mesh of the space, editable floor plan drafts, DXF files for CAD refinement and floor plan reports.
Does it need an annual software subscription?
FJD says no annual subscription is required for the essential floor plan workflow. You can pay for credits as needed or choose the optional Pro plan for extra features, storage and discounted credits. We confirm the software options with your quote.
How fast and accurate is it?
About 200 m² (2,153 sq ft) in roughly three minutes, with 1 cm post-processing relative accuracy under recommended conditions. The built-in laser measures to ±3 mm for critical dimensions.
How does the workflow run?
Scan with the FJD Trion Creative app, check highlighted coverage gaps and add laser measurements on site, then upload to FJD Trion Creative Portal in one tap to correct walls, add doors and windows, and export the DXF.
