Which attachment kits work with the Rough Ranger?
FJ Dynamics lists four kits for the Rough Ranger platform: the BP02 Ball Picker Kit for driving ranges, the LM03 Line Marker Kit for sports fields, the GC01 Grass Collector Kit and the DB01 Dew Brush Kit. Kits are sold separately; the earlier RM21 uses BP01 and LM01 instead.
Does it need an RTK base station or a correction subscription?
It navigates on RTK fused with LiDAR, so it needs an RTK correction source. FJD does not publish whether a base station or network service is included with the Rough Ranger, so we confirm the right correction setup for your site (for example FJD's Trion N10 CORS or a network service) with your quote.
How much turf can one unit cover?
Up to 12,000 m² (3 acres) per charge, and up to 108,000 m² (26.7 acres) over 72 hours in fast-charging mode (93,600 m² in standard mode). These are FJD theoretical values; real output depends on terrain, grass and your working hours.
Will it work under trees and around buildings?
Yes. RTK is fused with LiDAR, which FJD says keeps the Rough Ranger working reliably under trees and in signal-challenging areas, while 360° LiDAR and front and rear bumpers handle obstacles.
How do we map a golf course or field?
FJD's workflow is to scan the site with the Trion S2 Max LiDAR scanner, define boundaries on site with the V4e Pro, build the course model in GolfMind, and assign routes in the GreenMaster platform before the mower deploys. These tools are quoted separately.
What warranty applies?
Warranty terms are set by FJ Dynamics and confirmed with your quote. OmniNova is an independent retailer and handles claims with the manufacturer for you.
