Which FJD mowers does the BP02 fit?
FJ Dynamics lists the BP02 for the FJD Rough Ranger versatile robotic mower. It is not listed for other FJD mowers. For the older RM21 platform, FJD makes a separate kit, the BP01.
Is the Rough Ranger included?
No. The BP02 is the attachment kit only. You need a Rough Ranger, which we can quote with the kit or on its own.
How many balls can it pick up in a day?
Up to 3,000 balls per hour and up to 63,000 per day, based on 21 operating hours. One charge covers up to 12 hours and 36,000 balls, and the basket holds 1,000 balls before the robot returns to unload.
Does it unload by itself?
Yes. When the basket is full, the Rough Ranger drives back to the unloading area and the balls are unloaded at the station. FJD does not publish whether the station comes with the kit, so we confirm the unloading setup for your range with your quote.
How does it find its way around the range?
The Rough Ranger navigates with RTK fused with LiDAR, which builds a 3D terrain map and keeps it working near trees and obstacles. We confirm the RTK correction setup for your range with your quote.
Can it run in rain or heat?
The kit is rated IPX4 and operates from 0 to 45 °C (32 to 113 °F).
