Mowrator S1 Comparison: Which Remote Control Lawn Mower Is Right for You?
MOWRATOR S1 LINEUP
Which Mowrator S1 Is Right for You?
All four models share the same 21" deck, 3.4 mph top speed, and leaf shredding vacuum. The difference is slope capability and the tire system that gets you there.
Step 1: What Is Your Lawn's Steepest Slope?
That is the only question that matters first. The rest is preference.
24°
Gentle incline
S1 2WD
Gentle slopes, rolling hills, standard suburban yards
37°
Moderate hill
S1 4WD 75%
Hills too steep for a riding mower but manageable on foot

S1 4WD 85%
Steep hillsides, pond banks, roadside strips, wet and muddy terrain
50°

Common Questions
Do all models include the leaf shredding vacuum?
Yes. Every S1 includes the 4-in-1 system: leaf shredding vacuum, mulch, bag, and rear discharge. The 119% model delivers the highest suction at 931 CFM.
What is the difference between Wide Wheels and Grip Tread?
Wide Wheels (85% model) provide a broader footprint for lateral stability on wet, soft, or muddy ground. Grip Tread (119% model) uses 12mm non-directional tread teeth that bite into the surface for maximum uphill traction on extreme grades.
Can I upgrade the battery later?
The 2WD and 4WD 75% models offer both 12Ah and 18Ah options at purchase. The 85% and 119% models come standard with the 18Ah battery. Replacement batteries are available separately.
Is there an app or GPS setup required?
No. All S1 models operate via a handheld remote with no app, no RTK, no perimeter wire, and no GPS calibration. Power on and mow in seconds.
What warranty and support comes with purchase?
All S1 models include a 24-month warranty on the machine, remote, and battery; free US shipping; a 30-day return window; and local repair service in California and Missouri.
