Module-Level Optimization, Monitoring, and Rapid Shutdown
Tigo works at the level most solar systems ignore: the individual module. Module-level power electronics recover the output a string inverter loses when one panel is shaded, soiled, or simply aging faster than its neighbors — in a series string, the weakest module otherwise sets the pace for the rest.
The range here covers TS4 optimizer and rapid-shutdown units, the Cloud Connect and TAP data logger kits for panel-by-panel monitoring, and the Tigo EI 11.4kW hybrid inverter with Ethernet and Wi-Fi for storage-ready residential builds.
Rapid shutdown is not optional on most U.S. rooftop installations — NEC 690.12 requires module-level de-energization for firefighter safety, and Tigo TS4 units are one of the common ways to meet it. Confirm the requirement with your AHJ before finalizing a design. Pair with Power Inverters and System Components.
