Already have solar panels, or want to choose your own? These bundles pair a hybrid inverter with matched batteries.

This is the usual way to add battery backup to a home that already has solar. The old grid-tie inverter is replaced, or kept and AC-coupled, depending on your system.

Buyer tip: Tell us your existing inverter brand and array size before you order. Some existing arrays can stay as they are (AC-coupled); others should move to the new hybrid inverter.
