Hybrid Solar Inverters (Grid + Battery)

A hybrid inverter manages solar panels, a battery bank and the utility grid together. When the grid goes down, it keeps your backed-up circuits running from solar and battery. Several models pass through up to 200A for whole-home backup.
Hybrids are the usual upgrade path if you want backup power plus solar savings, or plan to add batteries later.
Buyer tip: Connecting to the grid needs a UL 1741-listed inverter and your utility’s interconnection approval. Check with your utility before you buy.
