About the Product
The Sol-Ark 15K-2P 32kWh whole-home backup power bundle integrates a 15kW continuous output hybrid solar inverter with two Discover Helios 16kWh LiFePO4 battery modules. Given the capacity, this bundle supports major appliances including HVAC systems, well pumps, electric ranges, and EV chargers during grid outages.
Built with intelligent power management, the Sol-Ark 15K-2P features three independent MPP trackers, optimizing energy harvest from complex roof layouts and partial shading conditions. The hybrid architecture seamlessly transitions between grid-tied, off-grid, and backup modes with just 5ms transfer time, while advanced load management prioritizes critical circuits during extended outages. The inverter handles up to 19.2kW of AC-coupled solar input, providing exceptional flexibility for existing solar installations.
The two Discover Helios lithium iron phosphate batteries provide 32kWh of usable energy storage. Each 16kWh module features an advanced 4th generation battery management system monitoring cell voltage, temperature, and state of charge in real-time.
Installation flexibility extends to both indoor and outdoor mounting with IP65-rated weatherproof enclosures on both inverter and batteries, protecting components from dust, moisture, and temperature extremes. Built-in self-heating technology ensures the Discover Helios LiFePO4 batteries operate reliably even in freezing conditions down to -13°F. CAN bus communication provides seamless inverter-battery integration, while Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity enable remote monitoring through mobile apps and web interfaces.
