Does the TX16S MK3 have ExpressLRS built in?
Yes. The internal ExpressLRS module uses two LR1121 transceivers for Gemini dual-band operation on 2.4GHz and Sub-G 900MHz, with up to 16 channels depending on the receiver.
What firmware does the TX16S MK3 run?
It runs EdgeTX, version 3.0.0 or higher per RadioMaster. Firmware is updated over USB or with EdgeTX Companion.
What batteries does it use, and are they included?
Batteries are not included. RadioMaster lists support for two 18650 Li-ion cells, a 21700 5000mAh pack or a 2S 7.4V 6200mAh LiPo, with an input range of 6.6-8.4V DC and a smart balance charging circuit.
How much storage does it have?
The radio has 4GB of internal flash plus a microSD slot for more models, sounds and themes. The microSD card is not included.
What is the difference between the TX16S MK3 and the TX16S MK3 MAX?
