- 3-blade (standard): Better for sites averaging 6–7 m/s or higher.
- 5-blade (low-wind): Recommended only for low-wind areas under 5 m/s. Loses up to 35% output versus 3-blade at higher speeds.
- Carbon blade upgrade: Resists bending in strong gusts, can boost output up to 30%.
Requires a compatible grid-tie inverter: This turbine is wired for on-grid feed-in and requires a matched inverter, sold separately.
