How is the X1 different from a typical handheld scanner?

It adds a guided workflow. Teams define what to capture in FJD Trion Model Web, sync the task to the X1, and operators follow on-screen route guidance, mark issues and record voice notes during the scan. Everything comes back together in Model Web for review and reporting.

Does the X1 support GNSS?

Yes. FJD says the X1 combines GNSS with LiDAR for outdoor workflows that need georeferenced data, such as site mapping, outdoor asset records and material yards. FJD does not publish separate GNSS accuracy figures for the X1; we confirm them with your quote.

How accurate is it?

Post-processed accuracy is ±1 cm relative and ±3 cm absolute, lab-tested. FJD notes that results vary with environment, workflow and operating conditions.

Can it document trees and landscape assets?

Yes. FJD lists urban tree management as a core use, including 3D records of trees, campus roads, green belts and landscape assets.

What software does it use?

FJD Trion Model Web for task planning, cloud processing, collaboration and reports, and FJD Trion Model for detailed point cloud editing on PC or tablet. Software licensing is confirmed with your quote.
