What accuracy does each mode deliver?
Mobile Mode delivers relative accuracy of up to 1 cm. Terrestrial (tripod) Mode delivers 4 mm at 10 m and 8 mm at 30 m.
How long does a terrestrial station take?
From as little as 30 seconds up to 2 minutes, depending on the density you choose. FJD says the rated accuracy is the same at every density.
Can I combine mobile and tripod scans?
Yes. FJD says you can process mobile and terrestrial scans separately or fuse them into a single point cloud. Multi-sensor SLAM records the relationships between stations to make alignment more efficient.
Can large sites be scanned in stages?
Yes. Sessions run up to 1 hour, and you can return later, match a previously scanned area on site, and let the software combine the data without manual stitching.
What software processes T1 data?
FJD Trion Model for large-scale point cloud processing, mesh, 3DGS, CAD/BIM, cross-sections and forestry analysis, and FJD Trion Model Web for browser-based access, sharing and delivery. Software licensing is confirmed with your quote.
