Why would a golf course or grounds contractor need a CORS?
Robotic mowers, line markers and GNSS receivers need RTK corrections for centimeter accuracy. A CORS gives you a permanent correction source you control, so every machine on the property (or across several sites) can use network RTK over NTRIP without a separate base for each. FJ Dynamics recommends the N10 for network-RTK mowing.
What area does one N10 cover?
FJD lists full coverage within the network and up to 30 km outside it, with recommended reference station spacing of 30–120 km. Network RTK accuracy is rated at 2 cm horizontal and 5 cm vertical. Your site design is confirmed with your quote.
Will it work with non-FJD equipment?
Yes. FLBS supports any GNSS reference station and rover that is compliant with NTRIP 1.0, using RTCM 2.3/3.x or CMR/CMR+ corrections.
What happens during a power or internet outage?
The receiver has a 22,000 mAh battery that runs more than 24 hours, supports remote restart, and FLBS sends email and phone alerts if a station goes offline or the service has a fault.
What does installation involve?
The antenna needs a stable, open-sky mount (5/8 in × 11 thread), and the receiver needs power plus a 4G, Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. Who performs site survey, installation and platform setup is confirmed with your quote.
