Why a reel mower instead of a rotary robot?
A cylinder reel cuts with a scissor action that minimizes leaf tearing, which is why fairways and premium turf are traditionally reel-mown. RCM01 brings that cut, at 7–44 mm, to an autonomous platform with adjustable striping.
How much fairway can it cover?
FJD rates it at up to 3,000 m² per hour and 30,000 m² (7.4 acres) per charge, with up to 48,000 m² in 24 hours and 144,000 m² in 72 hours using battery swapping. These are theoretical values under standard test conditions.
Do I need an RTK base station or subscription?
RCM01 supports NTRIP network RTK as standard and works with an FJD base station (optional in the factory configuration) or CORS station. We confirm the right correction source for your course with your quote.
What is included?
FJD's factory configuration lists the complete mower, a portable charger, a tablet, two bedknives and a V4e handheld marker as standard. The FJD Trion S2 scanner and FJD base station are optional.
Will it scalp undulating fairways?
The floating cutting unit follows the turf's natural contours to give a consistent cut and help prevent scalping. Max mowing slope is 15°.
What warranty applies?
Warranty terms are set by FJ Dynamics and confirmed with your quote. OmniNova is an independent retailer and handles claims with the manufacturer for you.
