Why use a total station instead of RTK?
RTK satellite signals weaken under grandstand roofs, near tall buildings and trees, and indoors. The PaintMaster Ultra follows a high-precision total station with an auto-tracking prism, which FJ Dynamics rates at millimeter-level accuracy in those GPS-challenged areas. On open fields with a clear sky view it can run in RTK mode instead.
Is the total station included?
FJD lists the positioning system as "Total station & GNSS" in the factory configuration but does not publish the total station make, model or whether it ships in the box. We confirm the exact positioning hardware, and any RTK correction service, with your quote.
Does it meet FIFA or NCAA line standards?
FJ Dynamics states the Ultra meets the requirements of FIFA, NCAA and other major tournaments for line width, line position and overall consistency. Final layout dimensions are set by you in the app, so your crew or governing body should still verify the marked field.
How fast and how far can it go on one charge?
FJD quotes about 30 minutes for a standard 11v11 field and up to 8 hours of operation from the 1 kWh battery. The battery recharges in about 5 hours, and fast battery swapping is standard for back-to-back events.
Can I plan and check the job before painting?
Yes. Built-in competition templates can be edited in real time and reused, and the FJD PaintMaster Simulator lets you rehearse marking paths virtually to catch offsets or overlaps before paint goes down. FJD GreenMaster adds fleet tracking, map planning and task dispatch.
What warranty applies?
Warranty terms are set by FJ Dynamics and confirmed with your quote. OmniNova is an independent retailer and handles claims with the manufacturer for you.
