Does it need an RTK base station?
PaintMaster Pro ships with two factory-installed SIM cards that give it mobile connectivity and access to supported RTK correction services. FJD does not publish a separate base-station requirement, so we confirm the right correction source for your site (network service or local base) and any service plan with your quote.
How much paint does it use?
FJ Dynamics reports 50%+ lower paint consumption than manual marking. The tank holds 25 L (6.6 gal), or 20 L with the optional tank, and line width adjusts from 6 to 17 cm. Actual use depends on your paint, line width and layout. When the tank runs low the robot returns to a refill point and resumes the job.
How many fields can it mark on one charge?
FJD rates it for 15+ full-size pitches per charge. The 1 kWh battery runs up to 10 hours, recharges in about 4 hours and can be quick-swapped to keep marking. A 0.5 kWh battery is optional.
Which sports and layouts are supported?
It includes 250+ templates covering soccer, rugby, American football, baseball and other sports and pitch sizes. You can also adapt templates, build custom layouts, and mark text or logos from imported artwork.
How long does it take to set up a new field?
Walk the field with the included V4e Pro to record corners, goalposts and reference points. FJD says a full-size football pitch can be mapped in under five minutes. Saved fields can be re-marked without measuring again, and you can preview the layout, route and marking order before any paint goes down.
Can one crew run several robots or fields?
Yes. The app supports multi-robot task assignment, automatic transitions between compatible fields and remote monitoring of progress and machine status.
