Three ways to deploy, no wire to bury

The FR4000 ships with an RTK base station for radio RTK that covers at least 1 km and links over Wi-Fi with no data costs. Where you have a correction network, run it on network RTK over NTRIP with no local base.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an RTK base station or a subscription?

Not necessarily. The FR4000 ships with an RTK base station (radio RTK) that covers at least 1 km and connects over Wi-Fi, so there are no correction-data charges. You can also run it on network RTK over NTRIP with no local base. FJD recommends its Trion N10 CORS for that, and any correction service is confirmed with your quote.

How much turf can one unit cover?

FJ Dynamics rates the FR4000 for about 1 acre (4,000 m²) per site. It runs up to 180 minutes per charge and recharges in about 120 minutes. Real coverage depends on terrain and grass, so for fairways or full sports complexes ask us about FJD's larger Rough Ranger and Titan platforms or a multi-unit fleet.

How steep a slope can it handle?

It climbs up to 33° (65%) and mows slopes up to 25° (47%). FJD advises planning slope routes up and down the hill and avoiding cross-slope mowing.

What happens under trees or near buildings where RTK is weak?

The RGB + stereo camera keeps it navigating, recognizing edges and avoiding obstacles in weak-RTK areas, so mowing continues without stopping.

Can I manage several mowers across a property?

Yes. The FJD Landscaping app shows each FR4000's live location and status, streams its camera, and lets you take control or stop it remotely. Software updates arrive over the air.

What warranty applies?

Warranty terms are set by FJ Dynamics and confirmed with your quote. OmniNova is an independent retailer and handles claims with the manufacturer for you.
