Everything required to feed 4kW of wind power directly into the grid: the Heli 4.0 turbine, a grid-tie inverter, and a matched 5KW load controller. This is a complete, ready-to-install system with inverter and controller pre-selected for compatibility with the Heli 4KW output profile — ideal for inland sites where consistent, higher-output wind justifies the larger turbine class.
How Grid-Tie Works
The on-grid inverter converts the DC power your turbine generates into grid-matched AC, continuously tracks maximum power point, stays synchronized with grid conditions for safety, and includes overload, over-temperature, and anti-islanding protection so it automatically stops feeding in during a grid outage. The 5KW load controller handles the turbine's own protection — automatically dumping excess load and adjusting to variable wind conditions so gusts don't damage the turbine itself.
Battery-optional design: This system can run with a lithium or lead-acid battery bank for storage, or without batteries to feed power directly into the grid. Confirm which configuration you need before ordering, as wiring differs between the two.
