Self-Heating Cold-Weather Batteries

Standard lithium batteries must not be charged below about 32°F (0°C). Self-heating batteries warm themselves first, so solar and wind can keep charging them in unheated cabins, garages, sheds and RVs.
Buyer tip: If your batteries will sit somewhere that drops below freezing, choose self-heating or plan a heated enclosure.
